Pitch for Microsoft Build 2018, an annual conference event held by Microsoft aimed towards software engineers and web developers using Windows Technologies.
A coffee brand that highlights the coffee’s social and environmental impact.
The Microsoft Events Team is searching for a bold, new, cutting edge creative concept for its annual conference. The system should not only work for collaterals and SWAGs but mainly throughout the whole space to create an immersive experience.
Create a brand that will break through and give consumers a reason to choose this coffee over the many other premium coffee options through a beautiful, premium brand that Cuban farmers will get behind and believe will be commercially successful in North America.
We used the icon as our starting point and to add depth to their story and help their property spring to life we’ve applied the logo to an isometric grid and then expanded it into a 3D element. Metaphorically, it creates not only the building blocks to a Better Future but also visuals that are both abstract and expressive. Lastly, we applied the bright colors from Microsoft's secondary palette. When the pieces are assembled, the feeling is modern and alive.
